Letter from the President
Welcome to the Kappa Delta Omega Chi chapter website!
Kappa Delta at Cornell is currently comprised of a group of 140 unique women who come together to form an incredible sisterhood. From psychology to mechanical engineering, agricultural science to performing and media arts, our sisterhood is made up of women with a variety of interests, all of whom bring something special to our chapter. Tight-knit and ever supportive, our sisters make campus into a home with women who will leave lasting impacts on our lives. Further, we also consider it important to foster not only the bonds within our sisterhood, but to also encourage friendships with members in the greater Greek and Cornell community.
We are part of a bigger network of Kappa Deltas around the country. In this vein, we work together to organize philanthropy events to support Prevent Child Abuse America as well as the Girl Scouts. Our focus is on confidence, especially in young women, so that they can grow up to feel empowered to make a difference themselves.
We celebrate our sisters’ victories and accomplishments around campus and throughout the world. Our sisters are very involved in a variety of organizations, from a cappella groups to varsity sports. We are proud of our sisters’ leadership and commitment not only to our chapter but also to the greater Cornell community.
Kappa Delta at Cornell is composed of women who are leaders, philanthropists, activists, performers, and - most of all - sisters. As KDs, we are always striving for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest. I hope you enjoy learning some more about us by exploring our website!
